I grew up in Timonium, Maryland. It’s not a very exciting place but I am very close to my family. When we were little, my cousins and I used to make our own newscasts in our grandparents’ kitchen. We downloaded a teleprompter app, put on our best outfits, and read headlines out of a magazine. I was always the reporter. I got a more official start in journalism my senior year of high school, when I interned at WBAL-TV, in Baltimore. I was hooked. In my time at UofSC, I have taken advantage of every opportunity that has come my way. You can find more about my experiences on my resume!

 

Before you take a look around my website, here are some important facts so you can get to know me a little better:

• I will not miss an episode of Dancing with the Stars. I currently plan my schedule around it but I am willing to record it.

• I am lactose intolerant but I eat dairy without fear. Have you ever tried mac and cheese? It’s amazing.

• Although I’m not always proud to admit it, I know every word to every High School Musical song. They are the music in me.
